Melodi Umoh is an author and musician. She has been writing since she was six years old. She was published in the Teen Ink Poetry Journal in 2009 and also has published poetry in an eponymous compilation published by the Desoto, TX poetry group, “Poetry in Progress.”

Melodi graduated from the Cedar Valley Branch of Dallas College in 2018 with an Associate of Applied Sciences in Commercial Music Performance. She began producing music in 2021 and posting her songs to Metapop under the pseudonym “SnippySnacks.” She also has music on YouTube, Amazing Radio, Spotify, and iTunes.

Melodi is currently pursuing a BAAS Degree at Texas A&M-Texarkana. When she isn’t studying, making music, or writing, you can find her on the website Scribophile giving and receiving writing feedback.
